Tips to survive (and shine) in the mine
Think in adventurer synergies
Your heroes are far more powerful together than alone. Chain their abilities: take advantage of Ogmul’s potions, secure gems with Silkara, set things up with one hero… then unleash the combo with another.
Forgeflame rewards players who plan and chain effects smartly.
Never waste an action
Sometimes it’s better to head back into the mine, explore, and prepare future plays rather than standing still.
Scrape points wherever you can
Games are often decided by just a few points. Exploring grants prestige, fighting Kobolds does too, completing artifact sets matters…
And don’t forget: gems still being carried during final scoring are worth a lot. Nothing is ever truly insignificant.
“Target an adventurer” can mean your own
Effects that target an adventurer can also be used on your own heroes. A push can bring you closer to a gem. Forced movement can launch you toward the Forge.
The mine is a weapon
The mine shifts, blocks paths, and sometimes collapses. Learn to read the terrain, disrupt opponents at the right moment, and seize opportunities as they appear.

1️⃣ Store the Adventurer miniatures here. You can also place their matching tokens with them (Batteries for Flyna, Potions for Ogmul, Webs for Silkara).
2️⃣ Place all mini cards in this slot.
3️⃣ Store the medium-size tokens here (do not include the 5 Kobold tokens — they go into the Kobold Bag for faster setup).
4️⃣ Store the small tokens here (two of them may not fit properly — you can place those next to the slot)
5️⃣ Store the cards by Adventurer in the three dedicated card slots.
6️⃣ Place the Flame tokens and Totems here.
7️⃣ Store the Kobold standees in this compartment.
8️⃣ Place the large tokens (Ore Veins and First Player token) here.
9️⃣ Place the score pad here, then put the Ore Fragments (in their bag) on top.
🔟 Put the 5 Kobold tokens into the Kobold Bag and store it here.
1️⃣1️⃣ Place the player boards in their slot, then lay the game board and rulebook on top.
